I purchased this coat via Sail during the Black Friday sales. The website incorrectly showed this coat as contain 600 fill responsible down. When I received the coat, the tag indicated otherwise (eco-fill down alternative). While not at all adverse to the idea of a down alternative that was made from recycled plastic, I knew nothing about the warmth of this alternative. I reached out to Sail about the incorrect information and their customer service was excellent - offering a full refund, but also a further discount as an incentive to keep the coat. I decided to keep it because I loved the look - I wanted something that looked as "stylish" or "sleek" as possible for a professional who needs to stay warm. I have ZERO regrets about my purchase. This coat is significantly warmer than the 700 fill down coat I also own. In fact, it is deceptively warm. I have been outside in -25 degrees celsius and not realized how cold it was until my lower legs that are exposed beneath the coat become numb. I was worried about the white, especially when I am always brushing past salt on my car as I clear it, but the incidental marks I have found on the jacket have wiped right off with water and a soft cloth. I am very happy with this jacket, very pleased with its eco-sustainability, and happy it is a Canadian company.
