WHAT IS DOWN?

    Down is the first coat of feathers, extremely light and thin, that keeps waterfowl warm. Feathers intertwine to create a protective shell of inert air in which body heat expands. With its natural qualities, down has the unique characteristic of letting air circulate while repelling perspiration.

    You can flatten and crease it all you want, it will recover its fullness in a few seconds.

    POLICY ON DOWN AND FUR

    All our downs all carefully selected to meet ethical and governmental standards. They are taken from white duck raised for the food industry.

    Knowing we might offend certain beliefs, we remind you that we use real fur that comes from ethical farms subject to regular inspections aiming to enforce the drastic regulations established by animal protection main institutions.

    Thanks to its natural vortex effect, fur offers an absolute protection against wind and extreme temperatures.

    HOW TO CLEAN YOUR COAT?

    Ookpik coats are made to withstand the test of time, but they require careful and cautious maintenance.

    Your down coat is machine washable. Our products are made to last for many years. To ensure your coat protects you for many years, avoid over cleaning it as the fabric could lose its water repellent properties. We recommend you wash your OOKPIK coat only if necessary, frequent washing can be very damaging for your coat. A water repellent coating should be applied after several washes to enhance the protection against cold. If you have a stain, simply clean it with a damp cloth instead of washing the entire coat.

    HOW LONG IS OOKPIK WARRANTY?

    The quality of our coats is our top priority. That is why we offer a one-year warranty, starting on the date of purchase, on all our products. In case of a manufacturing defect, Ookpik will make the repairs free of charge in its Montreal shop. Under no circumstances will Ookpik cover incidents resulting from careless use, other neglect or normal wear and tear.

    For this warranty to be processed, you will be asked to submit proof of purchase showing date of purchase at service.clients@slyandco.com

      DO YOU HAVE A REPAIR SERVICE?


      Your coat will be repaired in our workshop located in Montreal.

      Whether you want to change sections, redo the seams or replace the fabric, we offer fast, high quality service. Simply send us your request with product photos and information (color - size, photo of the problem) to info@ookpikworld.com so that we can give you a quote and coordinate the process with you.

      Repairs take approximately 2-4 weeks from the time OOKPIK receives the garment.

      WHY WAS MY ORDER CANCELLED?

      All orders are subject to payment verification. We reserve the right to refuse to process any transaction and cancel any orders without notice due to suspected fraud or unauthorized activity.

      WHEN WILL MY ORDER ARRIVE?

          All orders will be processed in one or two days and will be sent using Canada postal or Purolator services. The coats will be sent in special cardboard boxes for maximum protection.

          Standard delivery : Please allow 5-7 business days for delivery.

          Express delivery : Please allow 2-5 business days for delivery.

          All orders will be processed and delivered from Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays.

          Delivery times might be slightly longer in certain rural areas.

          HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

          After placing an order, you will receive a tracking number via email.

          HOW CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?

          An order cannot be cancelled once it has been placed. Please contact us at info@ookpikworld.com if you have any questions about your order.

          CAN I CHANGE THE SHIP-TO ADDRESS WHILE MY ORDER IS IN TRANSIT

          We currently do not reroute orders.

          WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

          At OOKPIK, your satisfaction is as important as the quality of our products. You can expect a flawless service.

          We accept the return of coats in their original condition, unwashed and unworn. Once our quality control team has examined the coat, we will reimburse the cost using the original method of payment in the 30 days following purchase. Shipping charges are final and non-refundable.

          You will have to communicate with us at info@ookpikworld.com to obtain the authorization number for the return of your coat.

          Returns are made with the carrier of your choice or directly to our warehouse at 9790 rue meunier, suite 200 in Montreal, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.
